The DC 3w /12v bulb is brighter than I expected, I recommend it to as many who have DC solar or inverter that produce DC out, No body should use it on normal generator or government electricity that is producing AC current with is 100 -250 power, it is strictly for DC , DC output only . not ac, I bought (5) five which I connect each to one room, I am additional six for both surrounding and bathrooms and toilet, because as DC it will save to power discharging from your battery, try it you will never regret it.
