Useful but very plasticky
In its lower control it boils water within 7mins. Just perfect for a single person...you may be able to manage only cooking rice for two persons. The downsides are that it is plastic, on first & subsequent uses the white part has been turning patches of black. In addition, shallow frying with it doesn't seem to cook the food I.e.plantain effectively except you deep fry in it using the higher control. It shuts down & off itself on reaching certain temperatures hence in my opinion best for boiling, steaming but not best for frying etc.
