The item is compact and easy to carry. Just make sure you attempt to fold it when it cools down. As for the steam part, I guess its less practical as the steam.compactment is so small. Even filling it up with water requires patience and skills. In all it make a good emergency ironing devise for small fabric area. Watch out for the heat knob as the ironing surface can get hot pretty fast and may damage your fabric.
