According to my usage and observations, when both batteries are completely drain, it does the job and both will be charged at same voltage of maybe 12.6 or something but as soon as it spikes up to 13v, boom one battery starts charging up to 13.9 while the other one was left at 13.3 and this happens all the way to 14.3v for one and the other one was 13.8v.. The difference of battery was just too much and so doesn't meant the purpose at all, And when discharging it was suppose to take power from the higher volt battery to feed the other low volt one right, but that didn't happen as the one with 13.2v keep at that and the other one was left at 12.8v and this keep going until one was 11.8 and the other one was 11.2v... It didn't balance the batteries when charging not discharging,,, I use a hybrid 24v inverter by the way so I guess for me this is not a good buy.. But hey don't get discouraged, that's just my personal experience and usage didn't serve the purpose... I'll give it a 2/5 star, And also I noticed when I attached it to the batteries it get warm as tend to drain the battery by a bit I guess because my backup time decreased when I had them on and backup time of battery went to normal when I took them off... To me it's not a good buy...
