Good for the price
SL71 Health Check — 15 July 2026: I almost returned it before I understood the fan technology behind it. The intermittent blowing of fan depends on the load carried. If the fan blows and stop it is a signal that the heat has dissipated. And if it is continuous it shows there is heavy load and the fan is continuously blowing to prevent a heat build up. Tested under heavy load (laptop, router, 43" TV, 4 phones, rechargeable light) for over two hours. Unit sustained power, dropped only one battery bar, fan ran continuously with cool exhaust — normal thermal management. Battery healthy. Unit functioning correctly. It is good for the price though.
