A scalp massager like this shouldn't be so firm that it pulls out some strands. It's supposed to be made of a soft rubber/silicate material which could easily spread conditioner/shampoo around my scalp not rob me of my strands. Maybe I just have weak roots. (Sidenote: I'm a man with a low-top fade)
