Old Realtek Chip , False Advertisement

Do not buy this if you are expecting a Wi-Fi 6 adapter, and absolutely DO NOT buy this if you are into cybersecurity/penetration testing. The product description claims this is an "AX300 Wi-Fi 6" adapter. This is a blatant lie. Upon plugging it in and checking the hardware ID, the actual chipset inside is a Realtek RTL8188ETV. For Normal Use: You are not getting Wi-Fi 6 speeds or 5GHz band support. This is an old Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) chip restricted to 2.4GHz with slow, outdated performance. For Hacking/Pentesting: This chip does not support monitor mode or packet injection natively on Kali Linux. If you are looking for a budget adapter for wireless hacking, look elsewhere (like an RT3070 or RTL8812AU-based adapter). This one is a paperweight for network testing. Extremely disappointed with the false advertising. Save your money.
