My fingerprint sensor is not working

The screen guard is not bad it’s full screen and it’s glass not ceramic but my fingerprint sensor is not working. It does not budge when you try to set up the fingerprint it won’t work I don’t know if it’s cause of the gum at the fingerprint sensor so please work on that.. Apart from the fingerprint sensor not working.. It’s a good product
