Does what it is designed to do. However, if you live in an area where the voltage is low (less than the stated input) the device will not supply any output to your connected device. It doesnt amplify the voltage, it just regulates it to make sure the stated and recommended voltage is being outputted.

The waiting period is too short. It should be increased up to 2 or 5 minutes to prevent power From entering the fridge immediately power is restored
