126 gig free out of 128 gig storage that's actually nice. got the option to format it as either a transfer medium or a mass storage medium. Seeing as I needed it mainly for my phone since I have no memory card space I formatted it as mass storage and transfer of movies as large as 1.6 gig took roughly 3 minutes. I wish it was USB 3.0 though
