Colour is as shown, more or less. Rim is 22inches, at least. First wash after purchase & the beret still had a strange dirty-ish look. Decided to soak it in a wash for a little bit then, lo & behold, a mint-green colour emerged from underneath. The gray dye had spilled into the water. For years, I've owned, washed & soaked berets, yet this is my first experience of seeing another completely different colour underneath. Label print states "THE FLORIDA BERET WOOL"
