They are fine as what they are, hoses.
They aren't 'thick leggings', they're hosiery. Effectively underwear. They're semi-transparent and can't be worn by themselves because your whole butt will be on display. If you want decent quality tights/hoses to wear underneath outfits. Go ahead. If you want leggings to wear as bottoms, look elsewhere.
