After about 2 weeks of using it the battery went bad and it stopped lasting as long it used to which was about 9hours or more.. I was so disappointed. I don't know what happened with the battery if it doesn't have an overcharge stop control. The fan build is good and remote features is handy.. The light is bright enough to help you see around a dark room but using the light drains the energy of fan faster.. It's a good fan but the battery needs to be worked on
