Works with DSTV EXPLORER Decoder
The replacement remote works with the Explorer decoder, but is not exactly same quality as original remote which came with the decoder. All the buttons in this remote are exactly same as in the original remote, however, the ;Replay", "Status Bar" and "Bookmark" buttons always tell me that I have a PVR decoder and asks me to upgrade my subscription even though I am already on the high ladder subscription. Overall it solves the problem and is better than using the manual channel button on the decoder and provides a lot more remote function & user options than without it.
