the printer has no cartridge in it
No cartridges included in the box. This was very disappointing — most printers at least come with starter cartridges to get you going. Without them, the printer cannot even complete initial setup, which caused unnecessary delay and extra expense. Cartridge compatibility is confusing. In Nigeria, this model uses PG-445 (Black) and CL-446 (Colour), not the PG-575/576 advertised for some other regions. I mistakenly ordered the wrong set at first. Genuine Canon cartridges are expensive and not always easy to find locally.
