Somewhat a let-down!

This adapter makes the video output, from any device that it is connected to, significantly more washed out. Thus, presenting charts with varying colours it negates one's effort to facilitate understanding via supposedly more visible contrast. Same for effect on video, etc. Change this adapter for another and... Voila!; one sees things much better. The only thing I can say in its favour is that the physical build quality seems more sturdy than most.
