The remote works. It's able to power my inverter AC 1HP, my scanfrost fridge with freezer compartment, 3 laptops, 1 monitor, 1 Smart TV, and my microwave all at the same time. And when you overload it, it cuts out power using the circuit breaker to prevent damage as one would expect.
