Calculations in Physics is intended to help students overcome the challenges associated with solving the numerical problems in physics. Physics is a numerical science which cannot be fully appreciated without adequate numerical skills. In fact, the lack of problem-solving skills has been recognised as one of the major reasons for the poor performance recorded in the subject over the years. 
This book contains mostly worked calculation examples as well as numerous questions, supported by the underlying theoretical principles.
Calculations in Physics is designed for use in a beginning course in the study of calculus for students in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics and the Sciences. In writing this book we have two main objectives which were formed over more than ten years of teaching Mathematics to students in the categories mentioned above.
