BioPure’s Baikalin is a powdered extract from the root of Scutellaria baicalensis, also known as Chinese Skullcap, Huang-Qin, or Baikal Skullcap. This herb is in the Lamiaceae (mint) family and gets its name from its blue to purplish-pink flowers that have a shape resembling a medieval knight’s helmet. The Chinese have used Scutellaria in traditional medicine for over 2000 years. In Ayurvedic medicine, Scutellaria is considered a cooling herb.

Take 410mg (approx. 1/4 teaspoon) mixed with water, once daily or as directed by your Health Care Practitioner
