Its mystique is sensual, and its remarkable staying power is enduring. While vetiver is a favorite in perfumery, it is also useful to help mask unpleasant aromas.
Topically, it can help freshen the skin and work on skin blemishes. Dilute to 2% with topical use, which equals about 10 drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil.
History: In India and Sri Lanka this oil is known as the "oil of tranquility."
