It inhibits the growth of bacteria, has antifungal properties and exfoliates the skin.
When the cream is applied, the sulfur reacts with the substances present in the skin to produce hydrogin sulfide, an antibacterial agent which also has anti-inflammatory properties and causes the skin to shed dead cells.
