Aquaphor Baby Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment is a multipurpose skin protectant formulated especially for babies’ delicate skin, but suitable for use by all ages.
Unlike lotions or creams, this is an ointment. Its formula is water-free (i.e. it does not contain added water) so that it seals in the skin’s own moisture and helps create an environment favorable to healing.
It is often used to:
Protect and soothe diaper-area skin
Help prevent and relieve diaper rash
Soothe dry, chapped, cracked or irritated skin
Calm drool rash, chafing, minor scrapes or scratches
Support healing of dry, sensitive areas like cheeks, elbows, heels, etc.
