Easy-to-Use Electric Ice Crusher 

Whether you want to crush ice for a fruit slushy, a sophisticated cocktail or just to make your ice bucket to cool your drinks, wine bottles and beer, this ice crusher is quick and simple to use. All you have to do is fill the top chamber with ice, turn it on, and wait for ice to collect in the jug underneath. 

Top Tip: If you use supermarket-bought ice cubes, use a rolling pin to smash the ice in the bag a bit first to speed up your ice crushing process. 

Can You Change the Size of Ice Shavings? 

Yes, just turn the dial on the front of the machine to pick between fine or coarse to change the size of the crushed ice produced. This machine will grind 250g of ice in each 5 cycle period. You should only run your ice crusher for 60 seconds at a time to prevent overheating, and allow a further 60 seconds between each crushing to let the machine cool down. Allow a 30 min cooling-down period after you’ve completed 5 consecutive ice crushing cycles. 

Ice Crusher for Cocktails 

Crushed ice is typically used in julep, tiki, cobbler and other spirit cocktails that need dilution. As well as cooling a drink, ice dilutes it and this can greatly improve the taste of some spirits. The small size of the crushed ice is great for use with drinks that include lots of fancy syrups and juices as it adds the right amount of dilution while keeping them consistently chilled. 

Make Your Own Slushy 

This ice crusher works in a different way to traditional slushy makers. With this machine you should pour syrups in the jug first rather than through the top of the machine. The stirrer will turn constantly while the ice is crushing to mix in your chosen flavours - however, don’t add lots of liquid as you don’t want to be cleaning up spills as a result of the mixing. 

Easy to Clean 

The ice crushing machine is easy to disassemble for cleaning. You can remove the jug, stirrer and lid to wash them under the tap or with warm soapy water. You can also pour some water through the machine to clean out the dispensing shoot. No parts of this crushed ice maker are dishwasher safe. Please take care when cleaning the ice crushing chamber as it contains sharp blades.
