About parameters: the model is DS18B20, number of pins is 3; Voltage supply is 3V-5.5V, temperature resolution is 9 to 12 bits, and the sensing temperature is -55 Celsius +125 Celsius, accuracy is +/- 0.5 Celsius.
DS18B20 one-wire digital temperature sensor: the singe 1-wire interface requires only one port pin for communication, it just requires one data line and GND to communicate with your microcontrollers.
3 Pins: the DS18B20 sensor has 3 separate pins for GND, DATA, and VDD; DATA is the digital signal input or output terminal; GND is the power ground; VDD is the external power supply input terminal.
2 Modes: the temperature sensor can operate in normal or parasite mode, in normal mode, each sensor is connected between a power line (Vdd) and ground (GND), and the data output (DATA) connects to a third data line; In parasite mode, both GND and Vdd need to be connected to ground.
Wide application: the DS18B20 temperature sensor can be applied for thermostatic controls, industrial systems, consumer products, thermometers, or any thermally sensitive system.
