It's a Good-to-Have

It is definitely a good buy, but I think it's been over-hyped. I used it it crush ice and it did to an extent. I also used it for tiger nuts (the dried one soaked in water for 20mins) it blended well, but I could perceive a burning smell. The food processor shredded my water leaf and I discovered that to get it right, you have to leave the blades running, while you feed in the vegetable otherwise, you may not get the right texture. All in all, it needs to be used with care and wisdom for blending hard to semi-hard foods, to preserve its longevity ... I hope. Would I recommend it? Oh, absolutely and oh yes I also liked that it's stainless steel - it looks really fine.
