Key Features
- With this done, we now want to upload the firmware to the camera and we can do this running the “OrbisEyeCameraFirmwareLoader.exe” file
- The camera should now be available as a camera called “USB Camera-OV580”! ou can keep an eye on the device manager going forward to see if these steps are working as expected.
- When you plug in the camera first, if the USB port is correct, then there should be a new entry under “Universal Serial Bus controllers” in the Device Manager.
- In the zip file you’ve downloaded, run the
“InstallDriver.exe” file to get the camera recognised as an unknown USB
BOOT device. This is because the camera doesn’t come with any plug and
play firmware we would normally see in standard PC webcams.
