Product details
Function: Compares a control system's reference input signal (such as 4–20 mA or a pneumatic signal) against the actual travel position of the valve plug or rotary shaft, adjusting output signal pressure to position the actuator accurately
Core Action: Acts as a servo-booster, converting low-energy electronic or pneumatic control signals into high-force proportional pneumatic pressures (up to 6 bar / 90 psi)
Key Tech: Uses internal mechanics, feedback levers, or non-contact sensors (like AMR magnetic sensors) alongside digital signal processing for auto-calibration and diagnostics
Specifications
Key Features
Advanced Diagnostics (EXPERTplus): Smartontinuous valve health tracking, logging error codes, valve signatures, cycle counters, and end-position trends to support predictive maintenance
Non-Contact Position Sensing: Many models use magnetoresistive AMR sensors rather than mechanical gears, making the positioner highly resistant to severe industrial vibrations and mechanical wear.
