L'eau D'issey Pure Perfume by Issey Miyake, L'eau D'issey Pure is a refreshing and aromatic fragrance for women that combines open marine accords with a white floral center. This perfume was launched in 2016 and opens with sea notes. Damask rose, orange blossom, lily and subtle jasmine fill out the heart and blend into the warm base of cashmere wood and ambergris.

Issey Mikaye was born in 1938 in Hiroshima, Japan. This innovative fashion designer survived the atomic bombing of World War Ii as a youth and went on to study graphic design in Tokyo at Tama Art University. After a colorful fashion career around the world, he established his own studio in 1970.

Miyake’s fashion designs largely feature the use of technology and innovations with fabric. The names of his fragrances are often whimsical and incorporate multilingual puns. He produced his first perfume in 1992 and offers his entire line at his own store in Japan called Elltob Tep which is “pet bottle” spelled backwards.
