Anytime that your spark plugs or coil are serviced or become contaminated with oil, water, or coolant, the boots should be replaced. Intermotor coil-on-plug boots are manufactured from high-temperature silicone rubber to provide great protection from thermal overload. The boot's one-piece molded design helps the plugs against moisture and other undesirable contaminants.
