The Inateck WP1002 is fully compatible with the following operating systems I managed to test it with: Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X Mavericks, Mac OS X Yosemite and even Windows 10 (technical preview). Users simply have to plug in the USB receiver into their machine and allow the device to be recognised. Then simply power on the pointer using the switch located on the side and you are good to go.
The ‘up’ and ‘down’ buttons are effectively keyboard keys so therneed for additional software or drivers. You can plug in the receiver, launch your presentation and will be good to go. The presentation pointer is not software-compatibility-restricted either; it works with Microsoft PowerPoint, OpenOffice, Keynote
