The backpack is made of a synthetic woven fabric. You can easily see the woven feature of the fabric. In other words, this is not in any way a cheap vinyl backpack.

The main compartment has three pockets. The two smaller pockets have a single black flap that secures with Velcro, where the flap secures the contents of the two smaller pockets. The internal fabric is also woven, and it has a finer weave than the outer fabric, which is colored.

The rear of the backpack, that is, the side that contacts the wearer's back, has a 4-inch long strip of synthetic leather.

The front of the backpack has another external compartment which takes the form of six fabric loops and a single cord that is inserted in a zigzag manner through all six loops, just like laces are laced in your tennis shoes in a zigzag manner.

The two ends of the cord pass through a securing button, and once passed the securing button; the two ends are fastened together by a plastic thing-a-ma-jig. Above region of the backpack with the zigzagging cord is a zippered pocket which is only four inches deep. This zippered pocket is deep enough for storing your cell phone, digital voice recorder, snack bars.
