Bilberry (Vaccinium Myrtillus) is a shrub 10-30 cm high, spread out-branched, deciduous, with bright green, shiny, angular, green branches. The leaves are alternate, sharp, and ovate. Flowers are solitary, drooping, located in the leaf axils. The petals are greenish or pinkish. The fruit is a dark blue or black globular berry. Bilberry blooms in May. Fruiting period is in July-September.*
