This Heavy Duty Jaw-Type Welding Electrode Holder (commonly called a "stinger") is a fundamental hand tool used in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW / Stick Welding). It is engineered to securely clamp welding electrodes (stick rods) and safely conduct high-amperage electrical current from the welding cable to the arc. The entire exterior is enclosed in a durable, heat-resistant, and high-dielectric insulating polymer material to fully protect the welder's hand from electrical shocks and radiant heat during intense welding operations.
