- The AK D5 is a vocal dynamic microphone available in two models, one with an on/off switch and one without. It does not require phantom power and works with an XLR cable. The microphone has great feedback suppression and filters ambient noise well with its supracardioid pattern. It is pricier than other microphones in its class and does not come with a cable. Reviews of the product are generally positive. The microphone is Considered a great choice for live performances and can cut through the mix well. It is also Considered a significant upgrade from USB microphones and is perfect for streaming.
