General-purpose PU foam (polyurethane foam) is a versatile expanding foam used mainly for sealing, insulating, and filling gaps. It comes in pressurized cans and expands after application to form a semi-rigid, insulating material.

What it’s used for

Sealing gaps and cracks around doors, windows, pipes, and walls

Thermal insulation to reduce heat loss or gain
Sound dampening in small cavities

Fixing and stabilizing lightweight structures (like door frames)

Filling voids in construction or DIY repairs

Features

Expands after application (usually 2–3× its initial size)
