This guard is an under voltage with over voltage protecting device rated at13Amps. The guard will disconnect if the mains supply goes below a pre-set limit and re-connect automatically only after the supply has returned to acceptable limits for the duration of the wait time (delay mechanism)

All electrical and electronic equipment connected to the mains supply is at risk of being damaged from spikes, surges, lightening, brown- outs, power cut (blackout),power back surges and over-voltage.
