Installation instructions:
Gently lift up on the trim surrounding the shifter frame. Place the overlay on the shifter plate and replace the trim that was previously lifted up. On some vehicles you may have to take out or lift up on the surrounding trim (to include ebrake cover) to access it.

It is recommended that the surface of the trim be cleaned thoroughly. If you have a hard time getting the overlay into position, a little soapy water can up the adhesive temporarily (until it dries again). This allows you to slide the piece into place. Heat from a hair dryer can aide in drying out the soapy water once you get it into place.
