Not what it seems

I was expecting a gadget to read voltage on battery like all normal digital handheld meters but I got a super tiny device(thumb sized) most likely a vehicle display or bike and I have to attach wire to use it and the mother board is exposed. It works fine though, but the vendor should have put more information to describe the product better.
