Scratch Resistant, IP-Rated Finish

Developed in Factory 5, Bang and Olufsen have employed an anodized aluminum speaker grille in the design of the Beosound Explores. This cylindrical grille will protect against picking up any dents or scratches, no matter how roughly the Explore is handled or how many adventures you take it on.

One of the most important considerations when designing a rugged outdoor speaker is protection against the elements, and B&O haven’t let us down on this occasion. An IP67 weather rating offers full dust and waterproofing, with the Beosound Explore able to withstand submersion in water of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
