I have had occasions where I didn't use it for quite long a period due to improved power supply, but when I did need it, its charge was still 100% from the previous full charge. It's heavy, but I guess that's part of its durable make. Being heavy is not an issue. You want something that works, first and foremost. There will always be trade-offs in life.
