There was nothing special about it as I thought later,my boom mic recorded on a camera when place far from the subject sounds better than the soundcard connected to PC when shooting a short film.But is ok if you want to do a voice over with a boom mic connected to it and then to PC,but on distance shots,it captures little or no sound,you just go record with your boom mic connected to you camera alone without any soundcard.

Unable to monitor sound while recording.
I neededto use it with my Samsung galaxy s8plus via type c adapter I couldn't listen while recording. It was also not able to capture sound with the lapel mic i plugged in it. But the sound quality on playback is ok
