Having used this for about a year now, I can't go back to using a mouse without a wrist rest. The ergonomic shape carefully captures the form of your palms, elevating your wrists giving your lower palms the comfort you never knew it needed. It can move on any surface. So, yeah I highly recommend this. That is if comfort is a must for you.
