The high temperature of the iron tip cannot work continuously, and high temperature work can easily damage the tip!
The melting point of ordinary solder is 183 degrees, the melting point of lead-free solder is 227 degrees, the usual soldering temperature is 300-380 degrees, and the boundary temperature is 380 degrees, which is higher than 380 degrees. The oxidation and loss of the soldering iron tip are extremely fast and seriously affect the long life of the heating core. The temperature display will jump at 380 degrees, the higher the temperature, the bigger the jump!

If you can use low temperature, don't use high temperature: T12 is a constant temperature control. Generally, it is recommended that the working temperature be controlled between 300 Celsius and 380 Celsius. Higher than 380 Celsius will damage the tip coating and shorten the PTC life!
We do not recommend the use of an adjustable DC power supply, because the adjusted adjustable DC power supply cannot meet the requirements of an instantaneous power supply. T12 has special requirements for power supply. Instantaneous power needs to reach 72W or higher. Certain brands of stabilized power supplies cannot meet this requirement. As a result, it was impossible to power the 942 soldering station.
You need to purchase a DC 24V 3A-5A power supply separately.
