How to replace the constantly failing terminals?

You can use a hack saw to cut off the old wires, then use a blunt edge cable stripper to wind around the thickest wire, making it smooth, compress and able to fit through the hole in the new terminal. Use allen wrenches to tighten the wires, and larger allens to tighted the terminal to the post.
