Product Introduction

DR402 Digital Beer Refractometer is mainly used in the manufacture of beer and wine to control the quality of the product during the brewing proce of wine or beer; two numerical values of brix and specific gravity of wort. It can also be used for fruits, vegetables and herbs, helping you to check the sugar content in fruits and vegetables and other herbs in order to determine the harvest period and help you to buy the right agricultural products at the market. The degree of beer does not indicate the amount of ethanol, but rather the concentration of the raw material, the wort. A 12° beer, for example, is a 12% (w/w) concentration of leachate before wort fermentation. The leachate in the wort is a mixture of various components, with maltose being the main one. The alcohol in beer is converted from maltose, from which it can be seen that the alcohol precision is le than 12° such as common light-colored beer with an alcohol content of 3.3-3.8%; strong-colored beer with an alcohol content of 4-5%. The percentage concentration of beer is expreed as a weight percentage, i.e. the number of grams of alcohol per 100 grams of beer. The alcohol concentration of beer is very low, for example, 12 degrees of beer contains 3.5% alcohol; 22 degrees of beer also contains no more than 5.5% alcohol.
