Mycoten Vaginal Tablets or Pressaries (clotrimazole 100mg) is indicated for the local treatment of patients with vaginal yeast infections such as Candida albicans, other Candida Species and vaginal infections caused by Trichomonas Vaginalis
Mycoten Vaginal cream (clotrimazole 1% 20g is a Broad - spectrum fungicidal, Antimycotic agent which is indicated for the local treatment of patients with vaginal yeast infections such as Candida albicans, other Candida species and VAGINAL INFECTIONS CAUSED by Trichomonas Vaginalis
Mycoten vaginal tablets and Mycoten vaginal cream are very effective in the treatment of vaginal candidisis accociated with pregnancy but should be prescribed with caution during the first trimester.
Note: the vaginal tablet is preferred during pregnancy since it can be inserted without applicator.
