Extinguish candle if it smokes, flickers repeatedly or the flame become too high. Always trim wick to about 1cm before lighting. Do not allow candles to burn to completion ensure that there is at least 20mm of wax remaining after burning. Place tea lights, votives and loose candles in a suitable holder large enough to contain any wax spillage Never use if there is damage to the container. Burn out of the reach of children and pets.
