LG G3 PROMOTION

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. This Promotion begins at 12.00am on the 20th of August 2014 and ends at 11.59pm on the 3rd of October 2014.

2. The Promoter is Jumia (Ecart Internet Services Nigeria Limited).

3. The officers, employees and immediate families of officers and employees of the Promoter, the associated companies and contractors of the Promoter, retailers at centres or online, and any other agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.

4. This Promotion is only open to entrants 18 years of age or over.

5. Entrants are expected to purchase the LG G3 Device from www.jumia.com.ng to be eligible for selection.

6. An Entrant’s Purchase automatically enters the Entrant into the Selection Pool for the Prize.

7. Multiple entries are permitted, meaning Entrants can make multiple purchases of the LG G3 Device. However an Entrant can only win one slot of the Prize.

8. Selection will take place on the at the beginning of October 2014 and the Winners will be randomly selected.

9. The Winners will be announced at the beginning of October 2014.

10. The Winners get to take One (1) companion each on an all-expense paid weekend trip to London! The total sum of the Prize shall not exceed the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5000.00) *

11. Winners will be responsible for obtaining their own Visas, safety and security during the all-expense paid trip to London!

12. Winners must fulfill all other conditions for travel to London as imposed by the UK Government.

13. Winners are at Liberty to select their own convenient dates for travel and notify the Promoter of these dates after they win Provided that the travel date shall be within a year of winning the Promotion.

14. No cash alternative to the Prizes will be offered. The Prizes are not transferable.

15. To redeem the Prize, Winners MUST undertake to submit a minimum of Five (5) ‘selfies’** per day, at various locations in London, during the all-expense paid trip. These images may be used at any time by the Promoter, for further marketing campaigns.

16. The promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion and these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control.

17. It is a condition of entry that the Entrant consents to the Promoter using the Entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner of a Prize (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of the Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products and services, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters in the Centre(s) or otherwise.

18. By entering the Promotion, an Entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the Entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Promotion or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the Prize.

19. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

20. By entering this Promotion, an Entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

21. The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

22. In the event of any dispute, or disagreement between the parties in relation to this Agreement, the Parties shall at first, meet to negotiate in good faith to settle the matter amicably. Where Parties fail to resolve any matter within 21 days, it shall be referred to a sole Arbitrator to be appointed by the parties herein, or in the absence of such agreement, to an Arbitrator appointed by the High Court of Lagos State.

23. The provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18) Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 shall apply to the arbitral proceedings. The decision of an Arbitrator appointed under this clause shall be final except where there is manifest error in law or fact or miscarriage of justice.

*The all-expense trip shall be strictly limited to Flight Tickets, Accommodation and Shopping Allowance in the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00).

4. This Promotion is ONLY open to entrants 18 years of age or over, provided also that under age entrants must obtain consent in writing from their Legal Guardians.

5. Entrants are expected to purchase any HP Laptop from www.Jumia.com.ng to Stand a chance to win a Free HP Tablet every week.

6. An Entrant’s Purchase automatically enters the Entrant into the Selection Pool for the Prize in the week of the purchase only.

7. Multiple entries are permitted, meaning Entrants can make multiple purchases of HP Laptops. However an Entrant can only win one slot of the Prize per week.

8. Selection will take place on the last day of each week and the Winners will be randomly selected.

9. The Winners for the previous week will be announced at the beginning of each week.

10. The Winners are entitled to one (1) HP Slate 7 Tablet.

11. No cash alternative to the Prizes will be offered. The Prizes are not transferable.

12. To redeem the Prize, Winners MUST present current and valid identifications matching the online Purchaser and must be willing to have their images taken; such images may be used at any time by the Promoter, for further marketing campaigns.
