This new device is an upgrade to the Hot 7 released a few months ago. The phone looks sleek in design with ample battery capacity that ensures you get long-lasting power. Let us check out what features Infinix is bringing on board this time and the price in Nigeria.
Display and Camera
In terms of display, the new Infinix Hot 8 sports a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels along with a pixel density of 269 PPI. The phone offers an impressive viewing experience with the waterdrop housing the selfie camera, and the bezel-less finish gives it a premium look. Sadly, the display is not HD which may pose as a turn off for some users.
Camera-wise, Hot 8 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup vertically stacked up. The camera module contains a 13MP F1.8 main camera, 2MP depth sensor, and a dedicated low-light sensor, which can take clean and clear pictures. There is also a LED flash. At the front, you get an 8MP camera, capable of shooting crisp clear selfie pictures.
Battery and Configuration
Infinix Hot 8 drives its juice from the sufficient 5,000mAh li-ion battery capacity. Although, this is below what Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus packs, but guarantees a long-time power supply.
Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 8 is powered by an Octa-core processor, clocked at 2.0GHz. It packs MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. There is also a 4GB RAM that ensures users get painless multitasking and gaming. For storage, there is 64GB internal storage that can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card. Based on software, we have Infinix XOS 5.0 skin on Android 9 Pie.
